  • I want to read that story so bad now...

Rob, you should bring back Black Man.
I remember I finished 2 pages of it a long long time ago, but never finished the whole story.

  • The graveyard of dead scripts. Where the Revengers, and Omnicorn were laid to rest.

Were the pages good? I hardly remember. I did like the design that you did. Black suit, afro and shades, right? If you have some sketches, you should scan them in so that I can post them. Your art has improved ten fold since you last drew Blackman.

  • I tried to make them good. I'm sure they suck whale shit by my standards now. I was thinking about him today. It'd be cool if I added a black fro pick, made the black jumpsuit with bell bottomed legs and huge collar. Maybe a big gold medallion.

I remember you had the Bible Booth in your future world. Where you put in a quarter and do your prayer bit. And bums would pee in them. That was your little idea, and its the first time I noticed any dissent about your religion.

  • Didn't he have a Blackmobile too? A black hearse, or something. If I was to redo it today, I'd call it the Negrobile because that's funnier.

You remember incorrectly. they weren't called Bible Booths, they were called God Pods. Totally Catholic, you see.

You'd insert some money and get to choose from a list of sacraments. Water would spray on you if you wanted to get Baptized, a little communion wafter would be ejected if you wanted Communion, an electronic priest would pop up if you wanted Reconsiliation, et cetra. My idea was that they'd have them all over Las Vegas, a sorta grey market religion as the States decided to seperate Church and State in a less oblique fashion.

    Odd that you remember that.
